How to copy my data file to a laptop How to copy my data file to a laptop

To copy your data file to a laptop do the following: First, install the RVer’s Notebook program on the laptop. Use the CD you received for the installation. Next, update your laptop and PC with the latest version of the program. Using the backup feature of RVer’s Notebook found in the Tools section; make a backup of your data file. You can backup to any location on your hard drive, Jump Drive, CDR or other writeable device. You can also email the data file to yourself if you don’t have a convenient way of moving the data file to your laptop. I recommend zipping it first if you email it. Copy the file you backed up (RVNotebook_be.mdb) to the C:/Program Files/RVNotebook/ directory on your laptop. The PC and laptop will have the same path to the program and data file (C:/Program Files/RVNotebook/). You are simply copying the most current RVNotebook_be.mdb (the data file) from one machine to the other. To keep both machines synchronized, copy the data file back to the PC once the data has changed
